We’ve been getting a lot of questions at HQ about how our Miracle Collagen is different to any other on the market, why the serving size may be smaller than what you’re used to and what exactly “bio-active” means.
So, let's get cozy and let’s deep dive.
I actually didn’t intend to make our Miracle Collagen available as a product range. I was actually in the middle of an autoimmune flare up when my gut was a mess, my hair had literally stopped growing and was falling out and my skin was lacking that radiance.
But what I really needed help to fix was my gut health.

I was experiencing bloating, indigestion, leaky gut signs and symptoms like rashes on my face after eating certain foods. My stomach was constantly bloated and I literally looked like I was 4-6 months pregnant on an everyday occasion - and 9 months pregnant when I had eaten something that didn’t agree with me. Which could have been a gluten-free, vegan, dairy-free, Venus pie from the health food store!
Yep, nothing I did seem to help my poor grumpy gut.
So, I reached out to my expert team of microbiologists and scientists and asked them to find me the highest-quality collagen they could find.
I personally needed the collagen to help repair my gut wall in an effort to reduce my bloating and other digestive issues.
The collagen they recommend to me was not on the market yet and is the highest quality collagen they could find.
They told me that it has some great scientific published papers around it and that it could help my digestive issues.

So, what makes our Miracle Collagen different?
It’s 100% bioactive.
Miracle Collagen is 100% bioactive. That means that every single molecule is hydrolyzed to a tiny molecular weight so that it’s easy to digest and absorb.
It’s hydrolyzed Collagen Peptides.
This means that the longer amino acid chains are broken down to tiny chains making them more easily absorbed by the body so that they can target the skin cells to produce more collagen.
It increases collagen production.

18 amino acids.
Miracle Collagen contains 18 essential and non-essential amino acids. Non-essential doesn’t mean they are not important. Rather it means that your body can make them on their own, so it’s “not-essential” you get them from your diet.
“Essential” amino acids mean your body can’t make the amino acid, they have to be supplemented from the diet.
Amino acids are the building blocks of proteins - and the collagen that plumps and firms your skin is protein.
Amino acids have a very specific role in skincare because it is literally the scaffolding that holds your skin up and keeps it plump, firm and hydrated from within.
Amino acids maintain skin’s texture, skin barrier function, and an overall supple, healthy appearance.
There are nine essential amino acids: histidine, isoleucine, leucine, lysine, methionine, phenylalanine, threonine, tryptophan, and valine.The 11 non-essential amino acids, which the body can make on its own, include alanine, arginine, asparagine, aspartic acid, cysteine, glutamic acid, glutamine, glycine, proline, serine, and tyrosine.
Collagen Types 1 and 3 targeted for skin health.
Miracle Collagen contains Collagen types 1 and 3 which are specifically targetted for skin health. Collagen type 2 is for joint health.
Molecular weight is 2kDA.
This is the size of the collagen peptide (remember, short-chain amino acid?) so that is readily absorbable and also specifically has a stimulating effect on the skin cells to produce more collagen.
Tasteless, odourless and fully dissolvable.
The great thing about our collagen, and what we get a lot of good feedback on is that it truly is tasteless, odourless and fully dissolvable. That means you can add it to anything. I add mine to my coffee every day.
The serving size is 2.5 grams.
You are getting 2500mg of 100% bioactive collagen in every serving. There is nothing else. The reason that the serving size is 2.5 g / 2500mg is that every molecule is literally bioactive and has the stimulating effect on skin cells to produce more collagen.
Contains protein, but is not a “protein powder”.
Whilst our Miracle Collage in 95% protein (by the time there is some sodium and water, it ends up around the 95% mark. This does NOT mean there are 5% fillers! It’s just that there is some moisture making up the weight.
Whilst our Collagen is protein, it’s not designed to be protein powder. It’s far superior to that.
It’s specifically designed to have the collagen production stimulating effect on the skin cells so that you have the plumpest, most hydrated skin, rather than merely being a protein powder.
