The goal of life is to make your heartbeat match the beat of the universe; to match your nature with Nature. -Joseph Campbell
We wave good-bye to 2021 this month, taking time to look back on the growth, joy and sorrow that encapsulated the year. We begin December with the final Eclipse of the Gemini/Sagittarius axis that began early last year. On the 4th, a New Moon - Solar Eclipse will appear in Sagittarius, marking a profound end to the philosophical, mutable teachings that we have experienced over the last 18 months. On the 13th, Mars will enter Sagittarius merging with the Sun. That same day, Mercury moves into Capricorn, organising itself for the upcoming season of the Goat. Overall, we will come across more practical, logical, resourceful. Judgement can feel clear - concise - and we’re energised to go after what we want in a ‘boss’ like manner. On the 1st however, Neptune in Pisces turns direct after 6 months retrograde!
On the 19th (for those of us in Aus), we have a Full Moon in Gemini dishing out straight up facts. We can feel restless, spontaneous - taking on Gemini’s need to converse - understand - share and ‘go over’. The next day, Venus will retrograde in Capricorn until January 29th, 2022. Ex’s and past relationships can resurface; especially ones you have kept thinking about - or kept in contact with. There is a nostalgic quality to life, and most of us will feel a little side-swiped by our emotions. Under the guidance of Capricorn, we seek out ‘healthier’ relationships, focusing on improving ourselves. Capricorn deeply grasps that we can’t love others, until we learn to love ourselves. On the 24th, the final exact square between Saturn and Uranus occurs, without doubt, this has been one of the most important aspects of the year. The themes expressed through Saturn and Uranus can feel chaotic, tense and explosive, so this day is one to watch out for. Cleaning up a *mess* may take longer than you’d like with this transit, but the truth is there to be acknowledged, try and take the good with the bad. Finally, Jupiter leaves Aquarius for Pisces on the 28th, bringing forth the mystical, magical quality of Pisces into the year of 2022. Luck is multiplied here and will reward those who are brave enough to follow their dreams. Happy holidays, wishing you peace and prosperity!
