Is Synthetic Fragrance Harming Your Skin Health?

Is Synthetic Fragrance Harming Your Skin Health?

In the pursuit of flawless skin, synthetic fragrances could be the silent saboteur. Lurking in many skincare formulas, these additives can lead to irritation, inflammation, and an imbalanced skin barrier.

At IMBIBE, we take a different approach. No fillers, no synthetic fragrances—just pure, clinically-driven formulations designed to elevate your skin health. Luxurious, clean, and uncompromising.

Our Clinical Nutritionist and Herbalist, Jessica Hoskins, dives deep into the truth behind synthetic fragrances in skincare. Watch the full breakdown in our latest video.

Is a synthetic fragrance in your skincare affecting your skin health? Hi, I'm Jessica Hoskins. I'm a clinical nutritionist.

[00:00:06.925 --> 00:00:31.285]
Synthetic fragrances often contain chemicals that aren't actually listed on the label, and they can cause anything from skin irritation, allergic reactions to hormonal issues. A lot of those synthetic fragrances also contain hormone disruptors or endocrine disruptors, and these can actually cause all sorts of disruption within the body that can lead to skin issues.

[00:00:31.685 --> 00:00:46.565]
Fragrances can also trigger low grade inflammation, and this low grade inflammation can actually accumulate and start to cause issues in the skin, like premature ageing irritation and fine lines and wrinkles as well.

[00:00:46.665 --> 00:00:50.925]
That's why at Imbibe we don't use any fragrances across our entire skincare line.
