We are deeply honoured and humbled to announce that IMBIBE has been nominated for the 2024 Marie Claire Sustainability Awards under the Food & Drink category. To be recognized by a publication that not only values beauty but also prioritises the health of our planet is truly inspiring.
The nominees were handpicked by a distinguished panel of four judges, each renowned as a formidable force for change within their respective industries. These esteemed individuals include Andie Halas, the visionary founder and chair of Thread Together; Clare Press, an impassioned activist, acclaimed author, and influential changemaker; Georgie Abay, the discerning editor of Marie Claire; and Lottie Dalziel, a pioneering entrepreneur and sustainability expert, celebrated for founding the B-Corp business, Banish. We thank you all for your trust in IMBIBE and allowing us this space to celebrate our achievements so far.
In a world where the pursuit of beauty often overlooks its environmental impact, we feel like it is our responsibility to lead the change towards a more sustainable future. From our ethically sourced ingredients and ensuring all products are made within 100km of our Byron Bay HQ to our refillable, recyclable packaging, every aspect of our business reflects a commitment to preserving our planet for future generations.
This nomination is not just a testament to our own efforts (and trust us it hasn’t been easy), but a celebration of the collective dedication of individuals and organisations striving to make a difference. It is a reminder that each small action, whether it's choosing sustainable products or advocating for environmental policies, contributes to a larger movement towards sustainability.
As we celebrate this momentous occasion, let us not forget that our journey towards sustainability is far from over. There is still much work to be done, but with passion, perseverance, and collaboration, we can continue to be the change we wish to see in the world.
Winners of the Marie Claire 2024 Sustainability Awards will be announced on May 16.
