Lemon desserts always remind me of summer kitchens and cool tiles under bare feet. There’s an ease to them that feels timeless. This panna cotta is one of those recipes that fits any occasion, whether it’s a long lunch or something to take to a dinner party. It’s simple to make, beautiful to serve, and full of ingredients that care for the skin from within.
Served in its own lemon cup, it feels fresh and polished. The balance of citrus and cream is classic, but what makes it special is the function behind it, a dessert that nourishes while it delights.

The Functional Side
This panna cotta is built around a few ingredients that do more than just taste good. The cream and honey create a smooth, balanced base, while the lemon brings brightness and that natural hit of vitamin C the skin loves. The flavour is clean and simple, but what makes this recipe truly functional are the two ingredients that work from within: gelatin and Miracle Collagen.
Gelatin for the Gut
Gelatin gives the panna cotta its soft, silky texture, but it also delivers real benefits for gut health. It’s rich in amino acids that help strengthen the gut lining, support digestion, and calm inflammation. When the gut is balanced, it shows in the skin.
Miracle Collagen for the Skin

Miracle Collagen turns this from a classic dessert into something that supports beauty at a cellular level. It helps to stimulate collagen production, improving skin firmness, hydration, and elasticity over time. Completely tasteless, it blends seamlessly into the mix, making this panna cotta both indulgent and functional.
The Ingredients
- 4–6 whole lemons
- 1 cup thickened (full-fat) cream
- 1 vanilla bean, split
- 1–2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
- 1 tablespoon gelatin
- ¼ cup Miracle Collagen
The Method
Start by preparing your lemon cups. Slice a small piece from the bottom of each lemon so they stand upright, then trim the top and gently scoop out the inside. Set aside.
In a small bowl, bloom the gelatin with a splash of warm water until it thickens and smooths out.
In a saucepan, combine the cream, vanilla bean, lemon zest, lemon juice, and honey. Warm gently over low heat until the mixture begins to steam. Stir through the bloomed gelatin and Miracle Collagen until fully dissolved. Avoid boiling to keep the texture delicate.
Pour the mixture into your prepared lemon cups and refrigerate for at least four hours or overnight until set.

When ready to serve, the panna cotta should have a soft wobble and a creamy, citrusy finish. You can top it with a few fresh flowers, lemon zest or leave it simple.

With love,
